SHARDUL THAKUR TEAM FORCHENNAI SUPER KINGS
After a couple of successful domestic seasons, Thakur caught the attention of the selectors and was handed the chance to debut against Sri Lanka in the ODIs in 2017. Although he took one wicket in his first two matches, Shardul showed good potential to be taken along the squad for South Africa's tour in 2018. In the lone match he played there, Thakur did enough to stay on the fringes of being a mainstay in the team with a 4-wicket haul. He has been a part of the Indian T20I squad and the Indian selectors have shown faith in his abilities.
Thakur has also represented Pune (2017) and Chennai (2018) in the Indian T20 League where he was a crucial member of the bowling unit.
